Held at Shangri-La The Fort in March 2025, the SMI Silk Awards is Skinmedicine Inc.’s annual gathering of the country’s top dermatologists and aesthetic innovators. A night of excellence, innovation, and gratitude, the event honors the best-performing clinics and celebrates the artistry and future of dermatology in the Philippines.

This year, HYPR was brought in to reimagine the format and transform the Silk Awards from a traditional program into an elevated awards experience.

Through HYPR Stage, we delivered end-to-end creative and show execution:

Our unique value came from shifting the event away from its usual clinical, seminar-style tone and reimagining it as a fitting awards show, with stunning visuals, seamless transitions, and captivating live performances—a modernized experience that gave the event the prestige it deserves.

‍Goals & Challenges

Goals:

• Celebrate the top-performing dermatology clinics and Skinmedicine Inc. partners
• Reposition the Silk Awards as a premium event in the aesthetics industry calendar
• Infuse the program with emotion, artistry, and entertainment—without losing its professional tone

Challenges:

• Redesigning a long-standing format without alienating a loyal guest base
• Balancing time constraints, performance elements, and awards pacing
• Creating a premium show atmosphere within corporate parameters

We approached this with a broadcast-style show structure, ensuring a tight program flow, engaging interludes, and a visual identity that felt fresh yet familiar.
